Hi y’all! My name is Rachel Green. I’m a Registered Dietitian and I’m interested in sharing my knowledge and insights with you!
A little about me: I studied nutrition and dietetics at the University of Delaware (go Blue Hens!) and completed my dietetic internship at Cornell University. I am definitely a foodie. Some of my favorite foods are sweet potato fries, my famous breakfast sandwich, salads with lots of veggies, and any combination of chocolate and peanut butter. I chose to study nutrition because I wanted a better understanding of how food affected my health. This has given me the tools to choose the foods that help me live a healthy and active lifestyle.
I’ve taken a non-traditional path in the dietetics world. I’m currently in a MBA program in Nashville, Tennessee. (I love this city!) My goal is to work for a consumer packaged goods company in their marketing department. In the meantime, I’m surviving grad school one meal at a time and learning some better time management skills along the way.
Through this blog, I would like to share my knowledge on nutrition and my personal cooking habits. I’ll be posting some of my go-to recipes and discussing various nutrition topics. I’d also love to answer any questions you all may have about nutrition!
